It was finally nice enough this weekend to really plan my garden and work on updating my porch decor. As I scoured my favorite blogs for inspiration, I decided to give you a little taste of what I found on my adventure.
There are so many great blogs out there with so many great ideas. I could of spent hours just reading instead of decorating. Which…is exactly what happened. But, I did get my garden planted finally!

Then try to find a way to incorporate this awesome GIANT clock from Mindi at My Love 2 Create on your covered porch! This is on my list of to-do’s for sure this summer! She has a TON of other DIY projects for your outdoor space to check out while you are there!

I had to include this! One, I garden and I love drying flowers, herbs and so on….but as I was checking out Sadie’s project a light bulb went off.
I want to this by the table on my porch and lay fresh picked lavender and citronella plants on them. Not only would they dry out pretty, it would keep bugs away from the scent! Bonus! Stop by Sadies blog Sadie Seasongoods for the tutorial.
Next time you are yard selling, find a cool old drawer and build yourself a little planter that you can use for flowers or herbs! I made one of these for my bathroom, but turning it into a planter is a great idea! Check out the tutorial from Michele at The Scrap Shoppe.

This is a great project for your porch or yard…a Cable Reel Tiki Table! Add some bar stools and let the magic happen! I love that since we used a cable reel to create this table, it has a built in hole for an umbrella! You can find the tutorial HERE.
